What partner acquisition is really about
You are convinced of both your network company and its products, right? Very good, because that makes you confident and makes you appear convincing when you talk to people about your business. But is that enough to convince them to join you as a sales partner? Is it enough to explain the advantages of your company and its products? I believe that this is only the second step. First it is about something else.
A barter deal
What does it actually mean to recruit someone as a partner? It's a kind of barter that we propose:
If we do it right, we promise our interlocutor a better life. We entice them with an additional income, even with the possibility of becoming wealthy. We talk about freedom, meeting interesting people, shared experiences, beautiful trips and breaking out of the famous hamster wheel.
In return, we want something very valuable back - the other person's time and energy. There is nothing more valuable than time, because our time here is finite, and our conversation partner has already used up some of it. Energy is also not unlimited - otherwise we wouldn't get tired every day at some point.
We promise
So, in order for our promises to come true, we require our prospect to change their priorities. If someone seriously wants to build up his network marketing and earn good money with it, he should invest 5 to 20 hours per week for it. That's the crux of the matter: in those hours, our potential partner was doing something else before that he won't be able to do to that extent in the future, if at all: Watching Netflix series, getting lost in the Internet with long surfing sessions, hanging out with buddies, or pursuing a beloved hobby.
And we demand
So we make two demands on our prospect at once: He should spend energy to do something specific and then for that he should also do without something else, which he always enjoyed a lot. So we are doing nothing less than chasing him out of his comfort zone! Will we succeed in this by telling him how good our company is and how great our products are? I have my doubts. Because that's only the second step.
Attractive and credible
In order for our friend to make the first decision, namely to leave his comfort zone and rearrange his priorities, two conditions must be met:
Our promise of a better, more beautiful, or more exciting life must be attractive enough for him. And second, he must believe it is possible for him. How do we achieve this?
If we're willing to take a step back, it's pretty simple. We don't start by talking about us, our great company and our fantastic products, but we first talk about his possible motives, his dreams, aspirations and the problems he wants to solve. Then we talk to him about his abilities and how he has everything he needs to become successful. Some of our acquaintances have been living an average, often boring life for so long that they have lost faith that they will ever be able to change it.
Encourage them to make a decision
Encouraged by us in this way, some of the people we talk to will make a move and be ready to tackle something again. So why not do the business we offer them? Great! That was the main challenge we faced in the recruiting process: Bringing about the decision to do something at all!
The evidence
Only now is the right time to talk about what, in our enthusiasm, we have perhaps always wanted to tell you about right at the beginning: Our company and the first-class products. Our prospective customer is ready to commit himself and wants to become successful. Now, however, he wants to make sure that the path we offer him for this purpose will actually lead to success. Now we can and should bang the trump cards on the table: Why our company is the best on the market, why our products are unique, and that the compensation system is more attractive than almost any other. With these facts and arguments we prove that it is possible for our future partner to achieve anything.
If we then also pledge our personal support and offer ourselves as reliable companions, we make it easier for her or him to decide to join us in a rewarding future.
We can take so many more people on this wonderful journey. We can change the lives of countless people in a positive way. Let's do it!
